1. Americans Only Eat Fast Food

Burger King, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Kentucky Fried Chicken… every big fast food chain we know is founded in the USA. In 2014, Burger King turned 60, while the competitor McDonalds already turned 75 in 2015. Fast Food in the 50s? Even worse. During the Olympic Games between 500 to 300 B.C. the hungry viewers could already buy little snacks like small cakes, roasted fishes or sausages, which is the antic starting point for fast food. But now, the Americans are famous for their “Fast Food Nation” (2006). By the way also a movie, based on a book by Eric Schlosser (starring i. a. Avril Lavigne) which shows the dark sides of the invented fast food can “Mickey’s”. Dark is also a burger which is sometimes available at “Burger King Japan”. The cheese and bread get their dark colour from bamboos cabbage, the sauce is coloured with ink from octopus and the meat is seasoned with dark pepper. Maybe they should sell this burger in America to decrease the number of people going into a fast food chain everyday (every fourth American) and which can maybe solve the obesity­problem (almost 35 % in 2011/2011 due to NHANES) in the States.

2. Every American Is Cool

We dont know what it is that makes someone cool. But we all know that even the nerdiest American is somehow “cooler” than a british punk rock guy. Maybe its the American accent, maybe the influence of Hollywood or maybe the long list of famous gangsta­rappers from the Bronx, Detroit, Indianapols, Milwaukee or some other underprivileged city in the USA. A list which is probably longer than the hair of an amish girl.

3. Americans Don’t Know Any Language Except English

Why do Americans only speak english? Its the same with the Britains: because thats the only language they need (this time around). Would anyone ever imagine that the flight attendant in a “Emirates” airbus would answer in Urdu, Afrikaans or even German if you ask her for a cup of tea? If she is not a native probably never! But thats not so bad and you can also see the good side of the fact that Americans only speak English. If they are not going to be the superpower in future, even they failed attempts to learn spanish is worth nothing.

4. Americans Only Like To Travel In America

America is not only a huge country, but a continent on which you can probably find every place a person needs and wants to take holidays. May it be a beach, mountains, cities, the wild west, the probably more wilder south or only your mother a couple of streets next to you. But even then the Americans can`t take this advantage of their own country quite often. Why? Because the people in America (also called the “no- vacation nation”) work a lot and dont get as much holidays as labours in other countries. Due to a study from U.S. Travel Association and Travel Effect, 86 % of all American employees have between six and 20 days of holiday. In reality, 40 % cast off between three to seven days. Some Americans are scared that they boss could get the image of a lazy employee if they take all available holidays. So the stereotype that Americans only like to travel in America is maybe reality, which is caused by the “no­vaction­nation” plus falling incomes.

5. Americans Try To Imitate The British Accent (when they are in GB)

Britains think that the American accent is cool, while Americans think that the British accent sounds sophisticated and elegant. If you are going to watch one of the many youtube­videos from peope, who try to show they “talent” you will get convinced by the fact, that the “tries” are actually really good. There are also many actors and actresses who got a role in a movie , in which they had to “imitate” either the British (for example Natalie Portman in “The Other Boleyn Girl”) or American accent (for example Emma Watson in “The Bling Ring”), which sometimes resulted in an Academy Award (Meryl Streep in “Out of Africa”).

6. American Girls Are Looking Like Barbie

Britney, Jenna, Denise, Christina, Pamela, Carmen…we just need to hear their first names and already know which persons are meant. Why? Because they all remind us of Barbie. Barbie is the perfect woman when it comes to physical desires of a men in west, east, north and also south of the world. Blonde hair, blue eyes, small nose, big lips, perfectly standing boobs, a narrow waist and long and skinny legs. Barbie is also considered to “walk” in high heels with her already downwards focused feet. But why does everybody thinks this ideal of a woman is only available in the US? Thats actually not what most of the people have in mind, BUT all around the world are only US copies of Barbie in person. The original is still only available in the US. But if you look at the average american girl, she may look more like Rebel Wilson than Barbie. At least then her hair is also blonde.

7. Americans Love Their Country A Lot

Americans are patriotists, because they like to hoist the US flag in their garden. But if you think about this fact, which is very often an argument when it comes to country­lovers, isn`t it the same in many other countries too? So its just normal that Americans love their country, because 1. its the superpower, 2. they have probably the most internationally well­known celebrities and 3. the country offers everything you`ve always dreamed of. We already mentioned in point 4 that Americans like to make holidays in their own country bcause of the big variety you can find in all parts of the continent, but totally forgot another reason why they like to stay at “home”: obesity. To be fully honest it will cost a lot to have a 1­week holiday at a thai­beach and you have to book two seats n the airplane only for yourself.

8. The Best Movies Are Made In America

Just think about your favourite movies and tell us: is there at least one from the film factory “Hollywood”? Maybe Casablance, Gone with the Wind, Scarface, The Godfather, Terminator, Pulp Fiction, Rocky or Jennifers Body with Megan Fox? We think so, because America is still “the” film factory when it comes to producing new celebrities, actors and movies. So the best moton pictures are not made in America, but you can say that the most famous movies are made in Hollywood.

9. America Is A Conservative Christian Land

If you think about the many stories about the so ­called Amish people its no wonder that you think that there are many conservative Christs in America. But the Amish­people, living without any technical stuff, electricity and wearing clothes from the 18th century are a little bit extreme. 76 % of all Americans are Christs. Within these 75 % lies a huge variety of different views in which the Amish­people are only one group, who lives strictly under the rules of the Bible. But if you think about Americans as conservative Christs? Its better to say that America is a state of religious people, but the state itself is rather not.

10. An American Rather Sleeps With His Gun Than With His Wife

Some people say that Americans hold weapons in their houses as animals, which means that they must really like them. Statistically almost every American has a weapon (90 out of 100). If you compare this with the number of married couples in the US who are not sharing the bed with each other, more Americans sleep with their guns (probably in their bedrooms) than with their wives (3 of 4). Famous couples like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt got reported that they also use this “technique” to keep the relationship alive.
